Flour Sack Assignment
May 4, 2009 by ana6997Pirates Scene 6
April 29, 2009 by ana6997In this scene the pirate sees that the ship is sailing away. I have the ship sail out to sea increasing in distance from the camera. This shot is to give the look that ship is getting farther and father away. The pirate raises his hand and his hook in the air as if cursing the ship for leaving. This is not the most update playblast as my final scene did not have time to be playblasted and went straight to rendering.
Pungo Luna Scene 41
April 29, 2009 by ana6997For this scene, I needed to make Lenny look like he was tinkering with the ship. I gave Lenny’s arms motion as if he was fixing something. I wanted to make his movements seem more realistic by adding motion to his head. This is a means to rid the scenes of robotic like motion. Lenny is too tinker with the ship and then looking over his shoulder implying that he is looking at the alien. After Lenny finishes tinkering, he closes the panel and walks off screen.
Pungo Luna Scene 44
April 27, 2009 by ana6997Scene 44 was a difficult shot as it was hard to make Lenny look as though he was typing. I gave movement to Lenny’s arms to try and give the look that he was hitting buttons. His object is to control the ship’s commands to retrieve power. When he makes a final press on the power button, the lights flip on and Lenny takes a look around the ship to see that everything is working. Be advised as the posted playblast is not the final that was used in the actual movie. I had made major modifications but at this point I do not have access to the final files as they are lost on one of the computers in the D.A. lab. Cameron has the final shots in the final reel.
Pungo Luna Scene 29 (1,2,3)
April 27, 2009 by ana6997In scene 29, shortly after crash landing, the alien is inspecting his ship. I had the alien give a sway of the head from one side to the other to give a full visual sweep of the ship. I then had the alien hop twice to get a more close up view of his ship. At the end he tilts his head in a confused manner to give realism to him inspecting the ship.
